Down Goes Castro! Down Goes Castro! Zidane Headbut Fun
Boli--you need to get real. Given the crimes of the empire, the continued oppression and support for state terror, it is you that need a reality check. You and your Latin American facist elite friends that have had a part in all this US-backed terror and oppression.
History will not look on your class in a favorable light amigo. Castro enjoys far more support in Latin America (among average people).
But, as usual, you align yourself with the anti-people forces of violence and oppression.
You will be forced to live the liberation--and you will whine with your bretheren in Miami and die cynical and angry. There is a God.

Ever think that the Spanish were militaristic: because the Islamic North African, and Arabic invasion produced 8 centuries of warfare, prone to intrigue and factionalism because during that period, nationality, ethnic, regional and religious lines were blurred and people fought against eachother, fanatical Catholics: because it provided a powerful symbol unifier to a region trying to free itself of what they saw as foreign invaders, feudal mercantilists: because they had just unified as a nation after brutal conflict, and many regions never had time to develop a modern economy, or conversely, The Inka demanded he be worshiped as a divinity= maybe because he needed some sort of myth to impose his authority as sovereign, in order to have some sort of cohesion as a nation, That he ruled as a despot who demanded tribute from small tribal units, because it was actually a fairly effective way of keeping the empire funded, that most Aymara and Quechua subjects had small communal based organizations not through any enlightenment, but because when you live in mountains at over 13,000 feet, where agriculture is extremely complicated, and live off 3 crops, you need to be highly organized in small units or you starve.
The fact that the Spanish and Native people's were an explosive mix.
REally, it is lame to blame history for your support of terror, war, and human oppression.
Take some responsibility for once in your life.
