BASTA !!! NATALEE HOLAWAY -STOP THE MADNESS!

This is insane, enough is enough!!! Two nights ago, it was the lead story at 9:00 p.m. on two out of the three 24 hour News Stations. This is all on the media for hyping this, and the public for demanding more of it. As The Jawa Report guy said MORE THAN A MONTH AGO!!: somebody please remind the American people that THERE'S A F**ING WAR ON!!

People demand some real news that might affect your OWN 18 year old's future - be informed. Media, I don't give a damn if "Jug" went back to Alabama, there is a famine in Niger and we don't see half as much about Iraq as we should. Now I don't blame the parents in any way, they will do what they have to do to keep pressure on Aruba, and I won't say F... Natalee as the one dude said. But....

I am so fed up, that I am actively endorsing what the guy at Forget Natalee has suggested.

What You Can Do

If you believe as I do, and want to see that this atrocity - The inordinate response from both government and media outlets is stopped - Make your voice heard!

Call your radio and TV stations. Write letters to your papers. Let them know that this has gone on long enough! That it's time to start focusing attention on somebody else. Let them know that while Natalee's disappearance is tragic, the circus which has followed is even more so.

They're only covering this because they think that YOU want to hear about her EVERY SINGLE DAY. The sooner they find out that's not the truth, the sooner we can all move on - And the sooner the healing process for everybody involved can begin.

If you have questions or comments, please email them to the address below. If you're going to send me hate mail, please don't waste your time. Best case scenario - You'll be ignored. Worst case scenario - Your email will be posted on this site and analyzed/critiqued accordingly.

That being said, here's our email address:

This is not a left-right issue, this concerns all Americans who see the need for the public to be presented with relevant information. People concerned about this need to make their voices heard, to show that despite what their ratings say, not everyone wants to see this non-story given so much time. Heck, if it doesn't work, take a page out of what some groups do, and threaten to write their sponsors.

My Suggestion: Start with the Big-Three 24 Hour News Channels, then go to particular shows like Bill O'Reilly (email addy here) and raise the issue.

Tell them you are concerned with the inordinate amount of time spent on the Natalee Holloway Story at the expense of real, world news.
